Questions

Do drivers have to download an app?

No. Drivers get a text with a link. They tap it at pickup and at delivery. It works on any smartphone, in the browser they already have.

What do green, yellow and red mean?

Green: picked up, delivered and confirmed by every witness. Yellow: still in progress, or something couldn't be confirmed yet. Red: a witness disagrees, like a different phone checking in at delivery or the wrong container. Each comes with one plain sentence saying why.

Does this replace my TMS or load board?

No. Loadmark is a layer on top of what you already use. Keep your TMS, your load boards and your ELDs; add a Loadmark number to each load.

Who can see my rates and customers?

Only your company. Rates and customer names are never shown to carriers, drivers, receivers, factors or anyone with the status link.

Is the driver tracked all the time?

No. Location is used only from pickup check-in to delivery check-in, and only while the driver's Loadmark page is open. It stops automatically at delivery.

How long does signing up take?

About a minute. Carriers type their DOT number, and Loadmark fills in the rest from FMCSA and verifies you on the spot when your authority is active.

When am I charged?

Brokers and shippers are charged only when a load reaches pickup. Cancel before pickup and it's free. Carriers, dispatchers, drivers and receivers never pay.
